Eva Hernandez - Owner and Projects Manager

An enthusiastic professional, Eva manages the planning and execution of all Function d’Eva contracts. Blending her outstanding leadership style with her cooperative attitude she has the skills to place everyone at ease. Eva’s integrity has gained her respect within the business community, and by maintaining strong relationships, she has developed a vast array of service providers who are available to her and the clients she works with.

Eva is the Chair of the World Community Service Committee for the Nelson Rotary Club and enjoys a very active role within that group. She also has served as treasurer on various boards with non-profit groups and parent advisory councils.

Eva’s education is in business administration. She has worked in the fields of banking, accounting, management, sales and marketing.

Fern Sabo - Events Manager

Fern has been assisting in the planning and execution of events for Function d'Eva clients since 2006. Honouring the needs of their clients and delivering quality customer service is important to her. She works efficiently and effectively, ensuring that the tasks at hand are always completed at the highest possible standard, creating remarkable events that stand out above the crowd.

Fern has many years experience in environmental stewardship and strives to keep our office procedures green. She is a member of the Nelson ECO Society and is passionate about encouraging and incorporating sustainable practices into the events she manages.

Ferns educational background is in business development and administration. Her previous professional rolls include; communications, marketing, sales and business management.
